Doggie Barn Dog House Plans

It's the brand new BarnPlans, Inc. "Doggie Barn" dog house!! It's a 1/12th scale model of our 32' two story Gambrel Horse Barn. It measures 32"x 32" with a 12" wide by 16" high arch-top entry. Big enough for "Harley" who stands 18" at the shoulders and weighs in at about 65 pounds.

   But Hey!.....if your pup looks more like "Nanook of the North" there's the 42"x 42" model with a 16" wide by 24" high arch-top entry. Fits even the most portly pooch. Maybe your little fella is one of those little fellas that doesn't realize he's a little fella. Well then "ˇYo Qiero Doggie Barn!" You'll want the 24"x 24" Mini Doggie Barn with an 8" wide by 12" high arch-top entry.

   There ya go.......dog house plans with three sizes to choose from......one is sure to suit you and your significant Doggie or Doggette to a "T". As with all of our barn designs, available on the Price/Order page, the plans are for the basic "Barn Shell". From there you can get as fancy as you want. Add a couple Dormer Windows, vinyl siding, air conditioning, CD sound system, big screen TV.....go ape!!

   For the dog house in the picture, we chopped up a bunch of cedar shingles for the roof (kinda to scale) and set a very trendy little miniature Cupola up on top......cut in a couple of little windows on each side and trimmed out the corners. A couple coats of a good U/V watersealer/stain and the whole thing was done in a week-end for less than 50 bucks!! Throw in his or her favorite old rug and a couple "Milk Bones" and they'll immediately figure out this is a lot cooler place to hang out than underneath the old tractor out back......Enjoy!
