The Second Floor Covered Deck is an extremely simple, inexpensive and easy to build accessory that can be retro-fitted to your existing barn or built during new construction. With the stairs on the inside of the barn or on the outside for a private entry to the second floor, it adds a whole new dimension to your living space, upstairs and down. Depending on your needs, the downstairs portion can be used as an open-air patio, covered parking or you can enclose it for additional storage space.
